This week we released a new design on Photographic Blog, as you can see this new design is a lot more professional looking …
The new design is also responsive, meaning that it will adapt to fit any screen size – right down to mobile phone screens. The new design was also for practical reasons – I wanted to start covering news items in a bid to beef our traffic up and broaden the scope of the site. We recently took on a new blogger who has been contributing some good articles and now will also be posting equipment news, check out his posts here – welcome Bernado!
With us now covering photography news I want to submit the site to Google News who have some strict requirements for accepting sites – hopefully with the new design we will be accepted. I’m going to leave it a month or so before submitting so we can show a track record of providing good quality news items.
I just released a new WordPress theme at ThemeFurnace which is the first new one since we launched earlier this month. Its a really clean theme for personal blogging which makes use of Post Formats so you can use it to post videos, audio (podcasts, songs etc), photos, galleries of photos, quick notes called “asides” and quotations.
The theme costs $49 or you can join the developer club for $99 which gives you access to every theme on the site, plus every theme created in the next 12 months. Pricing details here.
Im pleased to announce the launch of my latest website – ThemeFurnace, a new provider of Premium WordPress Themes.
There are 4 themes available at the moment at a cost of $49, I also offer a developer club membership which is $99 per year and includes all the launch themes + every theme added over the next 12 months. That is guaranteed to be a minimum of one a month, although Im aiming to add more than this.

Im pleased to finally announce the launch of our latest WordPress plugin : WP AdCenter. WP Ad Center is a complete advertising management plugin that allows you to control ad-space on any WordPress-powered site. You can use it to manage affiliate banners, google adsense, any other advertising network and also allow private advertisers to buy ad-space directly on your site and pay you via Paypal, automating the whole process for you.
I wrote an overview of the plugin over on WPLift which also includes a 20% discount coupon code.

Yesterday I put up a holding page for my latest project: ThemeFurnace, which is taking signups for the launch mailing list – if you signup, you will also receive discount codes when it goes live. I’m really excited about this project – I have been planning it for over a year now. The site will be selling high quality commercial WordPress themes backed up with great support.
If you are an amazing WordPress theme designer or developer and would like to work with us, please get in touch with your portfolio details.
I’m pleased to announce the launch of our latest website within Kooc Media, Photographic Blog. This site is a joint venture between myself and a friend – Tony Webber who is an amazing Photographer.
As you can see from the site, it is very new – we have just 6 posts so far on there but are working hard on a few more at the moment. We intend to slowly grow this into one of the largest and friendliest Photography Communities online. Once traffic levels reach suitable levels, we will be expanding the site to include forums and Photo hosting for it’s members.
I wrote a short piece over on WPLift about building the site and will be revisiting this every 3 months or so, so people who are interested can see the growth of the site and what we did to achieve it.
If you are interested in Photography, head over and grab the RSS Feed and our Twitter Feed.
I just released an iPhone app into the App Store for WPLift.com. The app is basically a mobile version of the site in a slick interface that allows you to read and comment on all the posts and keep a record of your favourites.
Head over to WPLift to see the announcement or grab the app from the App Store.
Today I released my first free WordPress theme into the wild over on WPLift, the theme is called “Busby” after the great Sir Matt Busby. I have been working on this theme on and off for a while now so it’s good to finally get it out there. No doubt I will have to do some bug fixes as there is only so much testing you can do yourself.
This is the first of a few themes I’m planning to release – Im allready well into the design of my second one which will be a portfolio / image gallery style theme.
